Accessible by design. Evidence before badges.
Banao / SYNTHCODE GOV is designed toward GIGW 3.0 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility expectations for a public-sector technical evaluator. This statement describes what is implemented today and what is still subject to independent conformity testing.
Current evaluator features
prefers-contrast: more preference.prefers-reduced-motion disables non-essential animation/transitions.Conformance boundary
No STQC/GIGW certification is claimed for this evaluation build. The product targets relevant GIGW 3.0 / WCAG 2.1 Level AA practices, but formal conformity requires manual and automated accessibility evaluation across supported browsers, assistive technologies, 200% text resize/zoom, reflow, keyboard navigation and content states.
Known evaluation limitations
- The evaluator's static contract checks verify required semantics/functions/styles, but they are not a substitute for independent assistive-technology testing.
- Complex engineering evidence panels can become information-dense in Expert mode; Guided mode is the recommended first-time evaluator path.
- Third-party repository content and external provider responses may contain text outside Banao's editorial control.
- Institutional SSO/RBAC and department-owned interfaces remain pilot integrations and require accessibility validation in the final department environment.
Accessibility feedback
For accessibility barriers in the public evaluator, email syntheontech@gmail.com with the affected page, browser/device, assistive technology if applicable, and a short description of the issue. Do not include citizen data, private source code or credentials.
